The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium
The River museum is a cute little museum in Dubuque, Iowa that features exhibits related to the Mississippi River and the Dubuque's history.
With over 26,000 artifacts, you won't ever get bored! You can see exhibits of boats, or really take a tour on a real boat! There is an aquarium full of sea life that comes form the Mississippi River, including anything from Gar Fish to otters!
There are a lot of interactive activities for the kids, including an upstairs with a fun waterway and beaver damn they can play with!
When you got outside, besides the boat tours, you can see their rescued Eagle and Hawk!

Upstairs they have different exhibits throughout the year. One time when I was there it was a Titanic Exhibit, then next it was a National Geographic Photography exhibit.
