Camping at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park RV Resort at Monticello, IA

Camping at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park RV Resort at Monticello, IA I didn't get a ton of picture while camping here, but I can tell you about the experience. Jellystone is a great campsite to go to for a little weekend family vacay. There is a pool there which is great for the kids. If you look close at the picture below with the pool, you will see there was a big inflatable  jumping "thing" for the kids to jump on. That was a big hit. There is a river that runs in back of the camp that you can quickly kaya down too. It goes from the pool to the campsites.  The whole park is walking distance, the pool, gift shop, kayaking area, and the big water jump park. But in the case you can't walk, they do rent golf cart, but they rent out fast so get it while you can!  The water bounce park is definitely the main feature of this campground. It would be fun for kids to even go for just the day.

Governor Dodge in Dodgeville, Wisconson

Governor Dodge State Park in Dodgeville, Wisconsin Governor Dodge is a fun state park to visit with the family. You can go canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking and camping. There is a really fun trail that goes down to a waterfall, old spring houses and trails that go down between canyons at the bottom of Stephens Falls called the Lost Canyon Short Loop trail, One time when we were there, a bear was too! Although this is very rare. Here are some pictures I took while at Gov Dodge over the years.
