McHenry, Illinois River Walkway on the Fox River

Fox River Walkway in McHenry Illinois

Here are some pictures I took I 2024 when I visited McHenry, Illinois for the weekend. I grew up in this area so it was fun to see all the new little crafts shops along the rive.

If you want a memento or keepsake from this area you can check out my Zazzle Shop called, "Through My Lens." I have a collection of products such as stickers, magnets, puzzles, postcards and greetings cards with these images.

About Me

Hi All! This blog is just a fun way for me to show off the things I accomplish in my life, the things I find beautiful and it gives me something to do. I have a chronic illness, and I spend most of my time in bed. Each time I go out and "do" something, it is an accomplishment   I love nature, animals, scenic views and people watching. (Not in a creepy way.) I am NOT a professional photographer, obviously, but I love to take pictures!  Many times with my art and photography I will add them into my online Zazzle Shops, so check them out! I say mostly because kids can make him nervous. We learned quickly he doesn't like too much action and screaming going on around him. But when it's just him, me, my other two dogs and cat, he is just fine. He will open his mouth to warn the dogs and cat not to get too close, but in general they will a...
